Norwich man charged in theft of vehicle left running, unattended

Norwich — A local man was arrested on a first-degree larceny charge after he allegedly stole a car left running and unattended in a store parking lot July 16.
Lance B. Khan, 32, of 181 W. Town St., Apt. 104, was charged at 9:55 p.m. July 16 with first-degree larceny of a motor vehicle. He was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 10 in Norwich Superior Court.
Police said Khan was stopped on West Town Street near his home allegedly driving a car that was reported stolen when it was left running and unattended in an undisclosed store’s parking lot.
