Crash involving pedestrian closes part of Route 156 in Old Lyme

Old Lyme — Route 156 is closed at Swan Avenue because of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, according to a traffic alert from the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

The incident was reported at 5:52 p.m. State police could not immediately provide any additional information on the crash or the extent of injuries. It is unclear how long the road will be closed.
