Accident closed portion of I-95 in Waterford on Monday

Waterford — An accident in which a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Interstate 95 North in the area of Exits 82 and 82A closed the highway for more than four hours early Monday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The accident was reported around 2:15 a.m. and the highway reopened at around 6:30 a.m. No information about the accident was available from state police.
