    Donald Brown, 54, of 39 Evergreen Ave., New London, was charged Wednesday with possession of a controlled substance: narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to display plates and insurance coverage fails to meet minimum requirements.

    Corey Harris, 21, of 172 Ashcraft Road was charged Wednesday with first-degree failure to appear in court.

    Alexandros Pappageorgiou, 61, of 156 Third Ave. was charged Wednesday with assault on a public safety officer.

    Phillip Anderson, 47, of 5 Cutler St. was charged Tuesday with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

    Eugenio Acosta-Vazquez, 18, 4 Fairground Circle, Norwich, was charged Tuesday with speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    Paula Kirkwood, 55, of 57 Colver St. was charged Monday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and risk of injury to a minor.

    Michael Foley, 25, of 325 Huntington St. was charged Monday with fourth-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct.

    Orlando Gonzalez, 31, of 201 Central Ave., Norwich, was charged Dec. 5 with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and third-degree criminal mischief.

    Allura J. Sitter, 28, of 32 Oakwood Knoll was charged Monday with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a minor.

    Jumel Varella, 26, of 91 Longview St., Waterford, was charged Monday with two counts of third-degree assault and one count each of breach of peace and criminal violation of a protective order.

    Christopher Mills, 59, of 19 Steward St., New London, was charged Thursday with fifth-degree larceny (shoplifting) and separately with three counts of second-degree failure to appear in court.
