    Police logs - March 18, 2022

    Groton City

    Joseph Ellis Jr., 21, of 24 Robinson St., New London, was charged Thursday with engaging an officer in pursuit, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.

    New London

    Victor Bailey, 24, of 730 State Pier Road was charged Wednesday with four counts of second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Jason Edwards, 26, of 280 Gardner Ave., Apt A2, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and traveling too fast for conditions.

    Noah Zimmer, 46, of 325 Huntington St. was charged Tuesday with two counts of violating a restraining order.

    Jorge Negron, 45, of 78 Dell Ave. Apt A7, was charged Tuesday with second-degree failure to appear in court. 

    State police - Montville

    Dante A. Moore, 29, of 30 E. Pleasant St., New London, was charged Wednesday in Stonington with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Chumahasheem Hart, 36, of 234 Laurel Hill Road, Norwich, was charged Wednesday in Griswold with risk of injury to a minor, breach of peace and second-degree strangulation.

    Amy Gaisey, 43, of Hartford was charged Tuesday in East Lyme with two counts of assault on a correction officer.

    Waterford

    Rosa Acevedo, 47, of 17 Grand St., New London, was charged Wednesday with driving while license is refused, suspended or revoked, driving an unregistered vehicle, failure to meet minimum insurance coverage requirements, possession of a controlled substance - narcotics, misuse of plates, failure to have stop lamps/turning signals and failure to drive in the proper lane on a multiple-lane highway.

    Travis Edo, 38, of Milford was charged Wednesday with sixth-degree larceny, interfering with an officer, breach of peace, third-degree assault and two counts of possession of a controlled substance - narcotics.

    Melanie Tirrell, 34, of 325 Huntington St., New London, was charged Wednesday with driving while license is refused, suspended or revoked and breach of peace.

    Joshua Us, 38, of 116 Williams St., New London, was charged Wednesday with driving while license is refused, suspended or revoked, driving while registration is refused, suspended or revoked and failure to meet minimum insurance coverage requirements.
