    Norwich police: Shooting victim in stable condition, suspects sought

    Norwich — Police said Thursday the 23-year-old man who was in critical condition after being shot early Tuesday is now in stable condition, and police are seeking the public's assistance in finding the shooter.

    The suspect or suspects were driving a white Ford Fusion with a sun roof, dark-colored tire rims and tinted windows, police said. Police haven't yet identified the person who fired a round at the victim.

    Police received multiple 911 calls about 12:17 a.m. Tuesday reporting a shooting in the area of Convent Avenue, which police said was a targeted attack.
