State Representative Marilyn Giuliano, in collaboration with the local Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, encourage residents to retire their old American Flags at drop-offs on Saturday, June 16.

Unserviceable flags may be brough to the Westbrook Public Library, 61 Goodspeed Rd., Westbrook from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., the Acton Public Library, 60 Old Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or the Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library, 2 Library Lane, Old Lyme.
