    Revenge for Pats?

Ravens coach John Harbaugh applauds after the Ravens scored against the Browns during the first half of their AFC North game. Below, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco

The Patriots play their first game without Randy Moss next Sunday at home against Baltimore, the team that ended their 2009 season in the first round of the playoffs.

New England traded Moss to the Vikings last week, leaving its offense without a major threat. The Pats, who have a bye this week, will have had two weeks to prepare for the Ravens. They might need it. Baltimore has already won a pair of road games against teams who figure to be contenders in the AFC: The Jets and Steelers.

This is also a homecoming game for Baltimore receiver David Reed, who played for New London High School has a senior. Reed was a fifth-round draft choice of the Ravens last April, after a promising college career at Utah. Reed starts on special teams.
