Sound Advice 1-20-23
Buying a home can be daunting, particularly for the first time or in a competitive market. But getting organized ahead of your search and assembling a team of pros can take a lot of worry out of the process, according to William Pitt Sotheby’s Broker Associate Susan Malan:
“Before you start exploring homes on the internet, be sure you’re ready to present the best offer you can when the right home presents itself. Decide on your wish-list items—number of bedrooms, baths, proximity to school or work. Consider the school district, taxes and amenities. Focus on location, because the perfect home in the wrong location is not the perfect home. Talk to several lenders, and choose a Realtor who understands your objectives. Create a team prepared to work on your behalf.”
