    H.S. lacrosse: East Lyme remains unbeaten with ECC Division I win over Woodstock

    Woodstock — Izzy Pazzaglia scored four goals as unbeaten East Lyme rolled to an 18-0 victory over Woodstock Academy in an Eastern Connecticut Conference Division I girls’ lacrosse game on Tuesday.

    LIly Poletto had a six-point game for the Vikings (7-0, 3-0) with three goals and three assists while Alanna Benoit and Dani Bruno each finished with two goals and two assists, Meg Nagle had a goal and three assists, Gina DiLoreto and Abbie Belleville had two goals each, Summer Sistare had one goal and two assists and Jess Knapph finished with a goal and an assist.

    In other games:

    • Stonington overcame a 6-5 halftime deficit to defeat Montville 12-7 in an ECC Division II game. Emma Logel scored six goals for the unbeaten Bears (7-0, 5-0) while Emma Spathakis had two goals and one assist and Autumn Christian and Shay Burnside each scored twice. Reagan Buscetto had five goals for Montville (2-4, 1-2) while Lily Tomczik had a goal and three assists, Kylie Spreng one goal and one assist and goalie Katie Koning made 10 saves.

    • Emily Aviles had three goals and an assist to highlight Griswold/Norwich Tech’s 9-8 win over St. Bernard in an ECC Division III game. Kaylin Stockwell added two goals for the Wolverines (4-4, 2-2) while Sienna Caron had a goal and three assists and goalie Alexis Emanuele made nine saves. Chloe Jennings scored three goals for the Saints (1-4, 1-3) and Gwyneth Howes and Morghan Kuhn had two goals apiece.

    • Killingly outlasted Wheeler/Grasso Tech 8-6. Grace Cassata and Sophia Gouveia scored three goals apiece for the LIons (2-3) and goalie Anna Barber made 21 saves.

    Boys

    • Waterford scored five goals in the fourth quarter to overtake Fitch 12-11 in an ECC Division I game. Jackson Huta had four goals and two assists to lead the Lancers (5-3, 3-1) while C.J. Landry had three goals and two assists, Tarance Silva two goals and Ayden Bousquet had one goal and one assist. Evan Salen had three goals and an assist to lead Fitch (3-4, 1-3) while Tate Gordon and Roman Rich each had two goals and one assist, Morgan Reissnor scored twice and Boden Frost had one goal and one assist.

    • Sawyer Tighe had two goals and two assists to lift East Lyme to an 11-9 win over Bacon Academy. Drew Sager added a goal and three assists for the Vikings (5-4) while Jack Keating, Gavin White and Jack Campbell each scored twice. Ethan LoVetere had three goals and two assists for the Bobcats (6-3) and Jack Holmes had two goals and one assist.

    • Conor Gaughan had four goals and an assist to highlight Norwich Free Academy’s 15-7 win over Woodstock Academy in an ECC Division I match. Logan Jenkins added two goals and three assist for the Wildcats (4-2, 2-2) while Tommy Brunelli had three goals and an assist, Anthony Ballestrini scored three goals and Conor Dempsey scored twice.
