Groton — Marina Lewandowski finished with two goals and an assist as the Stonington High School field hockey team defeated Fitch 5-1 Tuesday in an Eastern Connecticut Conference matchup at Groton Middle School.

Nora Walsh opened the scoring for Stonington assisted by Lewandowski and the Bears (3-1-1, 3-0-1) added goals by Lewandowski and Anna Lettiere to take a 3-0 lead at halftime. Paige Goebel made it 4-0 and Lewandowski added a goal to make it 5-0 with 2 minutes, 34 seconds left in the third quarter.

Stonington coach Jenna Tucchio credited her midfield of Goebel, Brianna Plew and Charlotte Cornell for limiting Fitch’s transition game.

CC Zimblemann scored a fourth-quarter goal for Fitch (3-1, 2-2).

In other games:

• Gracie Lloyd scored two goals, including one on an assist from her sister Mia, and Kate Erikson also scored twice in East Lyme’s 7-0 victory over Norwich Free Academy in the ECC. Joselyn Salerno, Violet Maziarz and Zofia Maziarz also had goals for East Lyme (3-0-1, 3-0-1) and Gracie Lloyd, Zofia Maziarz and Brielle Rheaume added assists. Freshman goalie Emma Van Dusen put up her second straight shutout. NFA is 0-5, 0-5.

• Katie Jamroga scored late in the second quarter to lift Waterford past Westbrook/Old Lyme 1-0. Emma Smathers had nine saves in goal for Waterford (4-2). Westbrook/Old Lyme (3-2-1) outshot Waterford 7-4 and had 10 penalty corners.

H.S. boys’ soccer

• Ben Syphrett scored twice and Luke Brannegan added a goal for St. Bernard in a 3-1 win over Wheeler in ECC Division IV. Tim Regan finished with eight saves for St. Bernard (4-2 overall, 3-0 Division IV). David Levanto scored and Jonny Anderson made five saves for Wheeler (4-2, 2-1). The game was tied 1-1 at halftime.

• Noah Keenan and Madden Brown scored to lead Montville past Lyman Memorial 2-1 in ECC Division III. Colby Cowan and Aaron Gould added assists for the Wolves (4-1-1, 2-0-1) and Adonis Santiago made three saves in the win. Jeremiah Bobbi scored for Lyman (2-3, 0-2) and James Hiltz finished with seven saves.

• Stouvenly Dortelus scored twice and goalie Oscar Amaya recorded his first career shutout as New London blanked Griswold 2-0 in ECC Division III. Niko Churis and Jhon Omelus were credited with assists for the Whalers (4-2, 2-1). Griswold is 1-4, 0-2.

H.S. girls’ soccer

• Summer Antonino and Kaylee Knapp each had a goal and an assist in East Lyme’s 6-0 victory over Amistad. Lily Antonino, Sam Rodes, Riddi Venkatesh and Elise Jorgensen also had goals for East Lyme (6-1-1 ) and Julianne Guarraia had two assists. The East Lyme defense did not allow a shot.

H.S. swimming

• The Fitch co-op won the 200-yard medley relay with Ashlynn Dunn, Sophia Pacheco, Lucy Doyle-Kusy and Haley Singer and Singer (50 freestyle), Pacheco (100 freestyle) and Doyle-Kusy (100 breaststroke) went on to win individual events in the Falcons’ 84-74 victory over NFA. Lauren Bullock (200 freestyle) and Cat McKenna (100 butterfly) also won events for Fitch (3-0 overall, 3-0 ECC). Natalie Bezanson won the 200 individual medley, the 500 freestyle and swam a leg of the first-place 400 free relay for NFA (1-3, 1-3).

H.S. volleyball

• Grace Phaneuf had 17 assists in Old Lyme’s 25-8, 25-18, 25-15 victory over Norwich Tech. Sydney Siefken added six kills, four aces and eight digs for Old Lyme (5-3) and Peighton Andrews had six aces and six kills.

College men’s soccer

• Connecticut College used five second-half goals to remain unbeaten, defeating Western New England 5-0 at Silfen Field. Conn (5-0-2) took over after a scoreless first half. Jake Creus scored on a cross from Gavin Mpiana to give the Camels a 1-0 lead with about 20 minutes remaining and Creus scored from Mpiana 22 seconds later to make it 2-0. Christian Perugini scored on a penalty kick, Charlie Miles headed in a corner kick by Gavin Vanden Berg and Vanden Berg completed the scoring. Western New England is 1-4-4.
