Groton — Grace Cosmopoulos went 4-for-4 with four RBI and a home run Thursday and the Fitch High School softball team defeated Norwich Free Academy 7-1 in an Eastern Connecticut Conference Division I game.

Maerin Lyon, Jaedyn Steffens, Hailey Merrill and Jillian Fugere all had a hit for Fitch (7-7, 2-3). NFA is 10-6, 5-2.

In other games:

• Reese Main had four hits and three RBI and Wheeler blanked Lyman Memorial 10-0 in ECC Division IV. Isabella Deledda and Addie Stanley had two hits apiece for the Lions (7-5, 3-0).

• Michaela Miner had two hits, two runs scored and two RBI as Stonington defeated Montville 7-4 in ECC Division III. Janiya Aleman and Shelby Mayo had two hits apiece for the Bears (13-3, 6-0). Abby Daniewicz and Kayla Terni had three hits apiece for the Wolves (9-7, 1-4).

• Norwich Tech defeated Putnam 20-4 in a game shortened to five innings. Maya Stimson was the winning pitcher for Norwich Tech (10-7) while Morgan Cook had four hits and Carden Stimson had three hits.

• Jazlyn Small-Yu had two hits, two runs scored, two stolen bases and an RBI as Bacon Academy edged RHAM 6-5. Sammi D’Atri had a double and scored a run for Bacon (12-4).

Baseball

• Dominic Pontbriant pitched a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and Lyman Memorial defeated Wheeler 3-0 in ECC Division IV. Jared Russo tripled in a run and Jeremiah Bobbi had an RBI and run scored for Lyman (11-4, 4-0). Wheeler is 9-5, 2-3.

• Aaron LoPresto pitched a six-hit shutout and Stonington blanked Montville 6-0 in ECC Division III. Finn Eck and Dylan Cimini had two hits apiece for the Bears (10-5, 4-2). Montville is 12-4, 3-2.

• St. Bernard defeated Ledyard 15-5 in ECC Division II. Bryce Morrissette had three hits, four runs scored and two RBI for the Saints (10-4, 4-0), Martin Light also had three hits and three RBI and Chris Tonucci two hits, two runs scored and three RBI.

• Fitch defeated NFA 5-0 in ECC Division I. Donte Valentine had two hits, scored three runs and pitched a complete-game shutout with eight strikeouts for Fitch (8-8, 2-4). Griffin Pollard and Dom Zuliani had two hits apiece for the Falcons. NFA is 7-9, 1-6.

• Liam Joyce pitched three innings of scoreless relief and East Lyme defeated Old Lyme 6-2. Alex Dreyfus homered and AJ Montejano had three hits for the Vikings (12-4). Ben Frazier, Jordan Hanes, Carter McGlinchey and Giovanni Winters had two hits apiece for Old Lyme (7-8).

• Plainfield scored three times in the sixth and edged Bacon Academy 3-2. Chris Lusignan had two hits for Bacon (7-7).
