Musicals selected for O'Neill conference
The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center recently announced three musicals to be developed at the 2013 National Music Theater Conference.
They are: "Broadcast," book and lyrics by Nathan Christensen and music by Scott Murphy. Performances will be June 22, 8 p.m.; June 23, 3 p.m.; June 26, 8 p.m. and June 28, 7 p.m.
Also selected was "The Noteworthy Life" of Howard Barnes, book and lyrics by Christopher Dimond and music by Michael Kooman. Performances take place June 29, 8 p.m.; June 30, 3 p.m.; July 3, 8 p.m. and July 5, 7 p.m.
The final selection to the conference is "Goddess," book, lyrics and music by Mkhululi Mabija and Michael Thurber with performances on July 6 at 8 p.m.; July 7 at 3 p.m.; July 10 at 8 p.m. and July 12 at 7 p.m.
