Rhode Island police probing theft of cigarettes, cigars from trailer

Cranston, R.I. - Cranston police say they're investigating the theft of $20,000 worth of cigarettes and cigars from a gas station storage trailer. Maj. Robert Ryan tells The Providence Journal that the cigarettes were noticed missing Sunday night as the owner of a AAA gas station was locking up. Ryan says the owner noticed that two padlocks had been cut off the trailer's door. Police say they're reviewing surveillance tape.
