Search continues for missing swimmer in Connecticut River

CHESTER, Conn. (AP) — State and local authorities are expected to resume their search for a man who was last seen swimming in the Connecticut River near Chester.
State Police Lt. J. Paul Vance said the search was suspended after sundown on Sunday. He said emergency crews will likely begin again on Monday.
The unidentified man was last seen at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday while swimming with a family member near the Chester Point Marina.
