2 men killed in separate Connecticut rail accidents

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Two men have been killed in separate train accidents in Connecticut.The Greenwich Time reports (http://bit.ly/TxygfL ) that Greenwich police say an unidentified man died after he was struck by a Metro-North Railroad train in Greenwich on Wednesday evening.A Metro-North spokesman said the man was hit by a train heading to New Haven. All four tracks were shut, causing delays.Separately, an unidentified pedestrian was struck and killed on Wednesday by a freight train in Enfield.Amtrak halted service on the New Haven-Springfield line. Amtrak owns the tracks, but does not operate the freight train.
