Police look for home invasion, kidnapping suspects

Meriden (AP) — Meriden police say they're investigating a home invasion in which armed suspects bound and gagged four victims and took two of them to Fairfield to rob a jewelry store.

Police say four or five men wearing masks and gloves bound and gagged with duct tape the victims at a home in Meriden Thursday. Authorities say two of the victims were taken blindfolded to Fairfield where the suspects robbed a jewelry store.

Meriden police say they're looking for a 2009 silver BMW bearing Massachusetts registration 96NV02. The vehicle belonged to one of the victims and was taken by the suspects from Meriden.

Police say the victims were unharmed and the identity of the suspects is unknown.

Meriden and Fairfield police are investigating.
