Driver caused $35K in damage after smashing through ESPN gate at Bristol headquarters
Police are looking for the driver who crashed into a security gate at ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol this week, causing $35,000 worth of damage.
A motorist slammed through the gate before backing up and leaving the area after running through a red light Sunday night at the intersection of Ronzo Road and Birch Street, according to ESPN spokesperson Mike Soltys. The gate was secured that night, but Soltys said it will still need to be replaced.
ESPN is working with Bristol police in their investigation, he added.
Police have released video of the incident, asking anyone with information on the driver to contact Officer Fisher at (860) 584-3000, ext. 3273.
