The UConn men's basketball team is headed to Washington, D.C.

The NCAA Tournament champions have been invited to the White House on Friday, May 26.

UConn defeated San Diego State last month in Houston to win the program's fifth national championship.

The Huskies will be joined by NCAA women's champions Louisiana State in a ceremony and will be greeted by President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden.

It will be the first White House visit for a UConn basketball team since 2016, when the women were welcomed by President Barack Obama after they won their fourth NCAA title in a row and 11th overall.
