TIVERTON, R.I. (AP) — The Rhode Island Department of Revenue says mobile sports betting in the state has expanded to a second casino.
The Providence Journal reports the Sportsbook Rhode Island mobile app's service expanded Wednesday and is now available at the Tiverton Casino Hotel.
The app initially launched at Twin River Casino in Lincoln on Sept. 4.
The department says gamblers must visit one of the casino locations to activate their accounts before they can use it in the rest of the state.
The state requires people to activate their mobile accounts in person and show a photo ID.
