State police have arrested an Old Lyme man on charges that include first-degree sexual assault and kidnapping.

Anthony Lacoursiere, 28, also faces charges of strangulation, third-degree assault and first-degree unlawful restraint. The investigation is related to an assault that happened on Jan. 1 and 2, police said. Police provided no details of the alleged crime.

Lacoursiere, who was arrested Friday, was being held on bail of $500,000 pending arraignment Monday, police said.
