UConn women play at Bridgeport today

The top-ranked UConn women play a different kind of "home" game today.

UConn plays Temple at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport (noon, SNY). The UConn men played in Bridgeport two weeks ago.

Unlike the men, who made their debut in Bridgeport, the women have played there several times in previous NCAA Tournaments

Temple (8-6) is coached by former UConn assistant Tonya Cardoza, who spent several seasons next to Geno Auriemma on multiple national championship teams. Feyonda Fitzgerald (14.0) and Natasha Thames (13.4) lead the Owls in scoring. UConn plays at No. 7 Baylor on Monday night.
