Storrs — The UConn women's basketball team will play Baylor, Notre Dame and Oregon — the other three teams to join the Huskies in the 2019 NCAA Final Four — as part of their 2019-20 schedule, which was released on Thursday.

Additionally, UConn will renew its rivalry with Tennessee on Thursday, Jan. 23, at the XL Center in Hartford as part of a challenging 13-game non-conference schedule.

Baylor, the reigning NCAA champion and the No. 2-ranked team in the ESPN preseason top 25, will also play the Huskies at the XL Center on Thursday, Jan. 9. UConn will host Notre Dame on Sunday, Dec. 8, and Oregon on Monday, Feb. 3, both at Gampel Pavilion.

All four games will be nationally televised on either ESPN or ESPN2. Oregon is the preseason No. 1 team and Notre Dame is No. 20.

The Huskies will also play road games at two other teams ranked in the preseason top 25, No. 7 South Carolina on Monday, Feb. 10, and No. 18 DePaul on Monday, Dec. 16.

UConn's other non-conference home games are against California (Nov. 10) and Virginia (Nov. 19) while its other non-conference road games are at Vanderbilt (Nov. 13), Ohio State (Nov. 24), Dayton (Nov. 26) and Seton Hall (Dec. 5). The Huskies will also play Oklahoma on Sunday, Dec. 22, in the Hall of Fame Showcase at Mohegan Sun Arena.

UConn opens its final American Athletic Conference season on Nov. 17 at Temple and will host the 2020 AAC tournament at Mohegan Sun Arena from March 6-9. The Huskies, who will return to the Big East in 2020-21, have won all six AAC regular season and conference titles and have never lost a game in the conference.

The 2019-20 UConn men's basketball schedule is expected to released on Friday.

    • The Huskies also picked up a verbal commitment Piath Gabriel, a 6-foot-5 center from New Hampshire who plays at Bradford Christian in Massachusetts. Gabriel made her announcement on Twitter. She is fourth player in the Class of 2020 to commit, joining guard Paige Bueckers of Minnesota, guard/forward Mir McLean of Maryland and guard Nika Muhl of Croatia. Bueckers is the top-ranked played in the ESPN.com list of top 100 players and McLean is No. 21.
