Café On Main Rings in the New Year with Performances from Some of the Hottest Acts in the Area

Colchester, Connecticut – Located across the town green between Hartford and Norwich, Café On Main has crafted a niche for bringing people together for great food at reasonable prices. The restaurant and pub is also being increasingly recognized for the wide variety of entertainment it brings in. Each week, beginning this month, live entertainment will be featured Wednesday through Saturday and as always there is never a cover charge.

“We’ve really outdone ourselves with entertainment this year, said Mike Gagliardi, Café On Main’s owner. “We’re taking our entertainment to the next level in 2010. Rocky Hill native Jeff Pitchell , blues guitarist and vocalist, will be playing on January 14th. Jeff and Nano from The Bus Drivers will be here in February. Country singing sensation and Waterford native Veronica Ballestrini, who’s currently in Nashville, will be performing in March. There’s so many great performers coming back as well: Country band Double Play, The Sue Menhart Band, Stumbledown, The Fence Incident as well as our very own Colchester natives: T-Ray, Post Hole Diggers, Collin Wade & Friends, Jim Ferguson and DJ Danimal every Wednesday for Karaoke. There’s something for everyone and it’s going to be fantastic.”

A full service restaurant offering daily specials as well as lunch, dinner, and a late night menu, Café On Main prides itself on bringing its customers a great and memorable dining experience. In a recent restaurant review, The ReminderNews noted, “…a fantastic spot in which to dine, meet with friends, and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.”
