SHU to Host Political Cartoonist Jimmy Margulies
On Sunday, September 18 at 7pm, political cartoonist Jimmy Margulies will speak at Sacred Heart University’s Schine Auditorium as part of the Gottlieb Memorial Lecture Series. This talk is co-sponsored by the Department of Communication and Media Studies.
Award-winning editorial cartoonist Jimmy Margulies has been working at The Record since 1990 after working for The Houston Post and Journal Newspapers of Maryland and Virginia. His award-winning cartoons appear nationally in major newspapers and magazines including Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, Business Week, and The Washington Post, among many others. The author of two published collections of cartoons, he appears regularly on network and local TV news programs.
