Shellfish Grounds Closure in Stonington - 19 September 2012

Due to Wednesday’s heavy rainfall, the Stonington Shellfish Commission has closed two conditional shellfishing areas, Areas A and Outer Quiambaug Cove. These areas will remain closed to the harvesting of clams, oysters and mussels for a minimum of 7 days. To determine when the shellfishing areas re-open, call the Stonington Shellfish Commission's Information Line at 860-599-7575.
