At the time of the founding of the New London Talent Show, Frank Colmenares and Curtis Goodwin were unlikely partners. At the same time, their backgrounds made them perfectly suited to start an arts-based mentoring program for local youth. After working for a decade to have a positive impact on the lives of local youth, both Goodwin and Colmenares say that the experience has changed their own lives. The final New London Talent Show takes place Saturday night at the Garde Arts Center.
