Ledyard’s Kendall Swan, English tutor by day/musical mad scientist by night, joined us Thursday and entertained the throngs for The Day’s “Live Lunch Break” concert in the Hygienic Art Park. Swan, armed with an acoustic guitar, an effects pedal board that would fry the brain of Jimi Hendrix, and a looping device that enables him to sculpt all manners of support sounds and rhythms, turned out to be a charming wit and very fine pop songwriter. If you missed the show, no worries! We archive all of our “Live Lunch Break” concerts and, in fact, many folks complain because they spend their lives incessantly watching LLB shows. Hey: There are a lot worse things and few that are better.
