"Game of Thrones" music in high-tech concert

Ramin Djawadi just might be a good luck charm for TV shows. He is the composer for “Game of Thrones,” which is, of course, a massive hit and pop-culture phenomenon.

And he is also the composer for “Westworld,” a new show that is, yes, a massive hit and a pop-culture phenomenon.

Djawadi knows an opportunity when he sees it. He’s taking his “Game of Thrones” success on the road. He is conducting the “Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience” that is now on tour and coming to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday.

The publicity materials promise that the “Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience” will “bring the Seven Kingdoms to life on a scale never seen before.” That means that, in addition to the “Games of Thrones” music, there will be plenty of visuals (footage from the show and new imagery) and state-of-the-art technology. Oh, and, yes, a full orchestra and choir.

And worth noting: Djawadi also created scores for such movies as “Iron Man,” “Clash of the Titans” and “Pacific Rim.” That’s quite a resume.

“Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience,” 8 p.m. Saturday, Mohegan Sun Arena; $59.50-$99.50; 1-800-745-3000.
