So now fans at Mohegan Sun will be getting to see an even fresher version of Katy Perry’s new tour.

Here’s why: the singer delayed the opening of her Witness: The Tour from Sept. 7 to Sept. 19, which means her concert Thursday at Mohegan Sun Arena will be just her second on this run.

In a statement released on Aug. 17, Perry said, “Due to unavoidable production delays, major elements of my tour stage design could not be available for me to rehearse on until this week. I’ll be spending the next few weeks taking the time to properly prepare the show to be an experience I am proud to share with you.”

Perry is known for her elaborate set pieces in concert. Her last go-round was a feast for the eyes, with glow sticks and flying guitarists, over-the-top costumes and a veritable army of dancers.

And in case you're wondering when looknig at the ticket prices listed below: that is not a typo; ticket prices top out at $499.50, with the less expensive options being $99.50, $149.50 and $299.50.
