Lady Bunny stars in Legends Cabaret at Garde

Sky Casper, best known around here for being the person behind the monthly “Pink Eggs & Glam Drag Brunch” at The Social in New London, has a new project: Legends Cabaret.

The series — which brings “the legendary queens of the world to the East Coast” — debuts this week, with performances Sunday in Hartford, Monday at the Garde Arts Center in New London, and Tuesday in Providence.

The inaugural show is Lady Bunny’s “Pig in a Wig.” It promises bawdy pop parodies and videos, outrageous costumes and wigs. The publicity calls Lady Bunny “the high queen of low comedy.”
