Norwich – City police joined members of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force on Wednesday to arrest a Valley Street man on charges of selling crack cocaine.
Carlos Rodrigues, 33, of 1 Valley St. was charged with three counts of the sale of crack cocaine. During his arrest by warrant, police said, officers seized $4,000 cash and two vehicles along with small amounts of heroin, morphine pills and crack cocaine.
Police said the arrest was the result of an extensive investigation involving undercover purchases of crack cocaine.
Held in lieu of a $150,000 cash bond, Rodrigues is slated to appear Thursday in Norwich Superior Court.
