Winnie Elenteny crosses the Islands in the Sky challenge while she and her fellow eighth-graders from The Williams School in New London take part in the high ropes course Wednesday at Camp Hazen YMCA in Chester. Wednesday was a day of college preparation or exploration for students at Williams. While the eighth-grade class was at Camp Hazen, the ninth- through 11th-grade students took part in standardized testing. Other student activities included tours of Connecticut College and the University of Connecticut at Avery Point and work on college applications.
