    ECC boys' and girls' soccer tournament pairings set

    East Lyme High School (15-0-1) will be the top seed in the Eastern Connecticut Conference girls' soccer tournament and meet No. 8 Ledyard in the quarterfinals at 3 p.m. Friday in East Lyme. Bacon Academy (14-0-1) is the top seed in the ECC boys' soccer tournament.

    Other girls' quarterfinal games Friday are No. 7 St. Bernard at No. 2 Lyman Memorial, 6:30 p.m.; No. 6 Montville at No. 3 Woodstock Academy, 3:30 p.m.; and No. 5 Stonington at No. 4 Waterford, 3:30 p.m. The semifinals will be played at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday at Waterford. The final is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at East Lyme.

    Boys' quarterfinal matchups Friday are No. 8 Lyman Memorial at No. 1 Bacon, No. 7 Windham at No. 2 East Lyme. No. 6 Norwich Free Academy at No. 3 Waterford and No. 5 Montville at No. 4 Griswold. Times of the quarterfinal games are yet to be announced. The semifinals are at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday at East Lyme and the final is also at East Lyme at 4:30 p.m.

    East Lyme's boys' and girls' teams are both defending champions of the tournament.
