34th Motorcycle Gift Run coming up

Santa Claus will lead a motorcycle run that will start at 1 p.m. on Nov. 2 at Mike's Famous Harley-Davidson, 951 Bank St., New London, and travel to Camp Harkness. Breakfast will be served at 10 a.m. at Mike's.

Last year more than 1,000 motorcyclists supported the cause, providing holiday gifts to children and adults with developmental disabilities who are served by the Department of Developmental Services in southeastern Connecticut.

Gift cards, unwrapped toys, sports clothing, adult clothing in all sizes, large-print books and puzzles are welcome as donations. Items should be brought to Camp Harkness.
