"Stomp" sells out at the Garde

New London native Kris Lee is a member of the touring cast of "Stomp" performing here.

Here's the good news: New London native Kris Lee is part of the touring cast of "Stomp" that's performing Sunday at the Garde Arts Center.

Here's the bad news: You can't go. It's already sold out.

Well, that's not really bad news. It's great news that enough people realize how cool "Stomp" is and want to see it. Or want to see it again, because it inspires that kind of wild enthusiasm.

"Stomp" is all about percussion, with performers building amazing rhythms using objects like trash cans and brooms.

Lee, meanwhile, started drumming when she was a student at New London's Edgerton Elementary School. She took lessons at Caruso Music in the city and was on the Garde stage before - tap dancing as one of the late Louise Neistat's students.
