Does anyone have more energy than Kevin Hart?

He fairly bubbles with caffeinated fervor, whether he’s doing comedy on stage or on screen (prime examples of the on-screen hits: “Think Like a Man,” “Ride Along,” the comic roast of Justin Bieber; a not-so-prime one: “Get Hard”).

More important, Hart is downright hilarious. He is the big man on the comedy campus these days. Over the past few years, he’s become a standard by which other comics are judged.

Good news for fans around here: He just started his latest stand-up tour, which lands Saturday at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Critics who hit his early shows have been enthusiastic and have reported about where he mines humor — everywhere from meeting up with a raccoon in his driveway to ordering from Starbucks.

Also, a warning: on the tour so far, there’s been heavy emphasis on the fact that videotaping, texting and so on are prohibited. As in, you could get booted for those offenses. So beware.
