Mohegan Sun exec named general manager of Louisiana resort
Michael Hamilton, vice president of resort operations at Mohegan Sun, has been named general manager of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana's Paragon Casino Resort.
The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority manages the Marksville, La., facility.
Hamilton, a member of the Mohegan Tribe, will be responsible for Paragon’s day-to-day operations. At Mohegan Sun, he has most recently been in charge of retail development through tenant acquisition and construction development, including the $130 million Earth Tower hotel project and the $13.8 million renovation of the Sky Tower, Mohegan Sun’s existing hotel.
His duties have included oversight of the transportation, engineering and security departments.
