Go ahead and bite off more than you can chew. Why not, when you're sampling your way through downtown New London on Wednesday during the Fall Food Stroll.

A slew of restaurants serve up bite-sized dishes for you to taste, and businesses open their doors to offer specials for you to enjoy. Regulars can stop into their favorite stroll spots, and they can try some new participants, too, including Fatboy's, Himalayan Kitchen, One Personal Grooming Studio, and The Social Bar + Kitchen.

Entertainment is always part of the stroll, and this year, that includes Christine Salazar, Mandy Sullivan, Tim Larson, Hart Strings Duo, Justin Harris and Dustin Chuff and Matt Hamilton.

Fall Food Stroll, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, downtown New London; in advance, $30 adults, $25 students and military; buttons $35 on Wed.; sold at Garde Arts Center box office, 325 State St., New London; newlondonmainstreet.org.
