The Estuary Council of Seniors is holding its annual fundraiser to benefit Meals on Wheels 3-6 p.m. September 22 at Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook.

This 5th Annual Shoreline Chefs will help raise money for local seniors in need. Shoreline Chefs features almost 20 local restaurants, caterers, and chefs providing small plate tastings of their recipes.

Tickets are $40 per person in advance ($45 at the door) and are available at the Senior Center at 220 Main St. in Old Saybrook. The event also features a beer tasting and wine tasting, entertainment, and a gift basket raffle.

The Estuary Council of Seniors is the sole provider of Meals on Wheels for the nine town region of Clinton, Chester, Deep River, Essex, Killingworth, Lyme, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook. The center also provides nutrition programs at 4 congregate meal sites to provide almost 80,000 meals in total each year.
