Records: Waterford (3-5, 1-4 ECC Small Division); Montville (4-4, 1-3).

Last week: Waterford lost to Griswold 20-7; Montville lost to Killingly 42-6.

Outlook: Both programs were long since eliminated from the postseason. And it hardly detracts from the significance of this game. Waterford and Montville are rivals — among the best in the Eastern Connecticut Conference — in virtually every sport. The disaapointment of Waterford’s season would be a duller ache with season ending victories over Montville and East Lyme. Same for the Indians, who would secure another winning season with wins over Waterford and Windham. Audio of the game will be streamed on theday.com
