Nickerson deserves re-election in East Lyme

As a citizen of East Lyme I want to say how pleased I am to hear that Mark Nickerson has decided to run for first selectman this fall. Mark has done an excellent job in the position this year. He has guided the town through one of the toughest winters in recent memory as well as spearheading the present budget with a modest two-third of a mill increase. His enthusiasm regarding the downtown upgrades and the boardwalk is infectious.

Mark is carrying on Paul Formica’s design for the future of East Lyme with energy and optimism. His business acumen is proving to be an asset to the community. Mark will use his 16 years of experience with the town to continue to make East Lyme the showplace it is.
