A letter, “2-hour license renewal? How Connecticut,” (Jan. 7), by a gentleman from Waterford, said that he waited in line at the DMV in Norwich for two hours to renew his license. If he had gone to AAA right in his home town of Waterford, he probably would have experienced the whole process with photo and it would have taken about 5 minutes! Even if he browsed some of the nice items they have for sale there his stay would have been much shorter and less stressful. I guess there are still many people who do not know you can do this and some other motor vehicle business at most AAAs.
