Needleman will reach across the aisle

Voting for local officials is about trust. The work they do in office has local and often near-term impact. Norm Needleman has earned the trust of the people of Essex and is ready to represent the citizens of the 33rd Senate District. He does so, not as an aspiring career politician, but as one of us from the community truly wanting to represent the interests of local towns.

I listened to Norm and other candidates in debates in Deep River and Westbrook. I was impressed with the polish of Art Linares, Norm’s opponent, but I also heard plenty of party rhetoric. What I observed in Norm is a leader who is willing to break rank with the party if it’s the right thing to do.

On Essex issues, he’s the voice of reason in a crowd, and can quickly bring people to a common understanding through dialogue. Please consider a vote for Norm. His experience in growing a very successful business in Connecticut, his long involvement in community, his understanding of the challenges of small towns in a diverse state, and his ability to cross the political aisle to achieve change is why he has my vote.
