Time to take a stand or face regrets

Life is testing each and every one of us. What are you going to tell your grandchildren?

Pride in my label trumped morality, integrity, reason, intelligence, and truth and freedom?

It wasn’t important to me what happened to “others?” It didn’t matter that “they” were devastated, destitute or dead?

I let someone else fix it?

    I didn’t have enough self-respect to take a stand?

I chose, "Every man for himself?"

It wasn't worth my time and effort?

    I was too busy?

Being an American means standing for universal equality and equity, shared power, justice, and dignity and well-being for all, not blindly sitting in a sense of privilege and entitlement.

What is your excuse? What do you stand for as an American? As a human being? For that is our common ground.

    What will be your legacy?
