March all you want, nothing changes

The march on gun violence by school students went off as planned. Wonderful! What was gained by it? I saw a trumped-up reason for "excused" time out of class. If our politicians cannot come up with a way to stop killings, how will young adults accomplish a corrective action? By walking out of class? The actions of most were, and will be, honorable but wasted school time. Watching on television and seeing their pictures in the newspaper, I could not miss the amount of students that acted like they had "pulled the wool" over the public's eyes. I'm sure this was not meant to be a laughing matter.

Stop selling the big guns to the public, not! Change the purchasing age to 21, not! Arrest the person who shows signs of being dangerous, not! This is America where we have rights that may be wrong but are not correctable. Face reality, any one can say "fix it" but no one can tell us how.
