Salem P&Z Commission to hold public hearing for farm brewery proposal

Salem — The Planning and Zoning Commission is holding a public hearing to discuss an application submitted by Fox Farm Brewery LLC.

The application was submitted to establish a special agricultural zone for a farm brewery at 62 Music Vale Road and is also under review by the Inland Wetlands Commission.

According to Section 30 of the town's zoning regulations, Salem recognizes that agricultural endeavors enhance its rural feel, and the regulations intend to promote agricultural uses of land and existing buildings.

The meeting will be held Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. in Room 1 at Town Hall, 270 Hartford Road.
