UPDATED: Power restored after Groton Utilities outage

Power has now been fully restored to Groton Utilities customers after an outage tonight affected residents in Groton, Stonington and Gales Ferry.

Although the electricity has returned, the incident may continue to have an impact on internet and phone service in the area tonight, according to a Groton Utilities official
