Jazz musicians play Sunday at Hygienic Art Park

Starting at 5 p.m. Sunday, the Hygienic Art Park will host a jazz concert featuring some very fine musicians.

First up is the Greg Piccolo Jazz Trio from 5 to 6 p.m.

Piccolo might be best-known for his tenor-sax and vocal work on the blues scene, but he also plays harmonica and guitar and writes songs.

Then, from 6 to 8 p.m., saxophonist Mike Casey and pianist Jen Allen perform.

Casey mixes original music with fresh arrangements of jazz standards.

The Hygienic Art Park is at 79 Bank St., New London. The event is sponsored in part by The Side Door.
