L+M Cancer Center to host talk about sex for cancer survivors

Waterford — The L+M Cancer Center will host a lecture at 6 p.m. Thursday on sexuality, intimacy and menopause for cancer survivors.

The featured speaker is women’s health expert Dr. Mary Jane Minkin, the director of the Sexual, Intimacy and Menopause Clinic at the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Minkin has spoken nationwide about this topic, and the forum will focus on helping cancer survivors embrace every aspect of their lives. Admission is free, but space is limited. To reserve a spot, call Pattie Sherman at (860) 271-4617. Light refreshments will be served.

The L+M Cancer Center is located at 230 Waterford Parkway South.
